Dear Thomas,
I’m not going to lie man,
your talent often shines like diamonds,
I think you’re one of a kind, man
I love how unflinching,
how unapologetic you are
dropping your bars
you’re often spitting raw truth
to the masses in your rhymes,

There’s a poet that I heard today
He had some really hard hitting things to say
Listening to him I knew I couldn’t & wouldn’t
walk away unchanged
I thought a lot of what he said was incredibly brave
I especially love that he refused to cave
To those who wanted him to shut it down
& threatened to ruin his good name
Speaking truth to power was more important to him
than any glory, fortune, or fame
