He writes poetry for the lonely,
for the beaten and the broken down
and he writes for those who’ve lost
their way and their peace,
to help them back
to solid ground

There’s something about the cry of a broken soul
Makes you want to reach out and hold them
Yeah, and show them, in case they do not know
because maybe nobody in their life has told them
There is hope & healing, restoration
Jesus brings life & sweet salvation
He can make anyone whole

This is about an old house,
run down,
With cracked spiderwebbed windows
& crumbling walls
For years left to rot
Until one day someone saw
That it was worth saving after all

We are all like the old house, we have parts of ourselves that are broken throughout our lives, and people may think they can’t be fixed, but they can.
She had a haunted heart
Full of heartbreak and tragedy
by the time he came along,
she was as skeptical
of Love as she could be
but with patience and gentleness
He was bound & determined to make her see
That true Love wasn’t some far fetched fantasy

I love to hear testimonies of hope, Love, restoration, and faith
& of how lives have been blessed, redeemed, and changed
God is still in the business of helping and healing the broken
& if you’re seeking salvation, Jesus is the way
His Love endures every day
