I believe wholeheartedly

respect and honor is a beautiful thing

but we ought to tread carefully,

there is a fine line between

honor and idolatry

The only One worthy of worship is the Almighty,

we need to keep in mind we are created beings

Average Joe

He’s got unkempt hair & cowboy boots

You won’t find him in a dry cleaned suit

but he’s a man that respects his roots,

His neck is red as the Southern clay

He’s overworked & underpaid,

Lives by the sweat of his brow every day,

He’s just an average Joe

The kind everybody knows

That’ll fix a tire, make a spare key,

or be willing & ready to fight or die

to keep others safe & free,

Whatever they need,

He was raised to be that kind of man

He’s the kind that still says “Sir” and “Ma’am”

He doesn’t care how “old fashioned”

some may think that to be

Silence Is Complicity

I’ve had enough of it,

the cowards and raging hypocrites

Who sit idly by while the insane throw fits

trying to dig my country into a pit

I will address it until it gets fixed

To be silent is to be complicit

I worry for the country that my son will grow up in

& not helping save it would be a sin

I Love America, the land of the free

I love that it’s a melting pot of traditions & ethnicities

That’s one of it’s greatest beauties to me

I only have one simple request, it’s truly easy, really

If you want to be here, come legally…

If you do, you’ll never hear any objection from me

Some may complain that what I’ve called for is not P.C.

but it’s common sense to me
