Love & Prayer

Some struggles are harder than others

but we should stand firm & help one another

Through the trying times, the crying times

When we see a brother mourn,

we should not meet his tears w/scorn,

We should lift him up in love & prayer

My prayer for America is that we return to our knees

To thank the Lord Almighty for His many blessings

Let’s stop w/all the senselessness & animosity

Let America forever be a beacon of truth, hope, and Love

Where the bells of freedom ring

Take the time to show Love to someone today

You can show it in simple ways,

like buying them lunch, sitting w/them to pray,

stopping in just to say

“You matter to me, I hope you’re doing okay”

Sometimes I just don’t know

what to do or what to say

I still have my faith,

but it’s sometimes hard

For me to face some days

There’s an old song that talks about

Not knowing which way to pray,

Oh, I’ve been there,

but I’ve got to believe

That God knows my heart

and knows my prayers,

even the things

I can’t quite articulate
