Whatever the paths in my life
are meant to be, I’m excited
to continue to see where they will lead
I’m thankful for the ships
that haven’t sunk on me,
& the wind in my sails,
carrying my hopes & dreams
Everything in my life that’s inspiring
Keeping the fires alive in me

and “vampires” around
People who’ll try to take the dreams
you’ve built and tear them down
Never let the beasts beat you
or break your heart
Most of all never apologize
for being true to who you are
