Pandora’s Box

Bringing him into her life

was like breaking the locks

& opening Pandora’s box

He left her distraught

Because of all the trouble he wrought

He wasn’t the man that she had thought,

the lies he told, for too long she bought

but she’s free now that he’s been caught

Her eyes are green as kryptonite, her hair is black as night

her skin is pale as ivory, glistening in moonlight

Any man who meets her quickly falls under her spell

At first they all believe she’s a sweet innocent belle

but if a person looked a little deeper, they’d find a heart

as dark as hell

Hiding beneath the surface charms they’d find a Jezebel

She is living proof that even beauty lies, sometimes
