Genuine Southern man,
down home born & raised
his neck is red & he’s not ashamed
it’s from the hot sun beating down
while he works all day,
nights are made for family time
they share laughter and Love
while they all unwind

They were both born & raised down on the Gulf coast
They’ve still got some good friends there,
there are a few they miss the most,
They’ve been living up north now, for six years in a row
They both agree it’s been too long
since they made it back down home
but they’ll be going back @ Christmas time
