Tommy’s been to London, Tommy’s been to France, he’s been through fire and rain and taken crazy chances

He lived to tell his story, and he’s touched so many lives, with all the things that he’s been through he’s just thankful he’s alive

He doesn’t take a second of his life for granted

He knows all too well it can all end in a second

He’s lost good friends that he held dear who it seemed were in the prime of their years, but he lives with courage, not with fear

Makes the best of things while he’s here

Nathan’s got a hot peppermint mocha

coffee in hand

& he’s eating Pizza flavored chips

from a Pringles can

The place he lives in isn’t a mansion

In fact it’s small, but to him it’s grand

It’s sitting on his own piece of land

He can’t complain, he’s got it good,

he’s a simple man

This is to the humble barbers, humble farmers,

average Joannas & Joes

who give their all, day in day out,

but who most will never know

You all deserve recognition,

whether people know you by name or not

Thank you for everything you do,

It really means a lot
