There’s an old greasy Harley

up on blocks in the driveway

Left there by an old man who doesn’t ride anymore

Years ago when he was young he would have given anyone who challenged him to a race a run for their money

but these days he’s just so broken down that it’s not funny

When people ask about it, he just looks up with a grin, says “I’ve had my time in the sun, those days now are done, and that Harley’s even more broken down than me”
