Hard Realities

Truth doesn’t always feel good,

You can hate me

If you want, for saying that

but nonetheless it’s a fact

There will always be

Cold, hard realities

Even if there are times

That people rather there not be

It’s more compassionate

to deal w/things honestly

Than it is, pandering to misguided fantasy
