A young man living off the grid in a place called Silver Ridge
He’s an outdoors man & survivalist
On his front door there’s a “no trespassing” sign,
Custom made real fine, shellacked til it shined
he’s had it a long time, It’s carved from the remains
of a chopped down Georgia Pine,
He lives off the land like his granddaddy did
Family tradition,
He’s not alone, he’s got a wife & kids
To some he’s strange, but not to them
Their way of life is just how it’s always been
They wouldn’t trade it in,
they love the freedom of it
