Spinning Wheels

A poet spinning his wheels

like a madman

Every morning, noon, & night

Waiting for inspiration

Something new/fresh to write

Lately his tank has been on empty

Seems like it’s all been written before

He’s hoping that the writer’s block

Is just the calm before a creative storm
