The Bitter & The Sweet

The fruit of my life

has been a lot of things,

the bitter & the sweet

& hey, at least for today

I’ve still got a heartbeat

Whatever life may throw my way,

I can confidently say I’ll be alright

I can make it as long

as I’ve got a point of light
