Amos’ Loot

Amos used to sell stolen cars,

then hide his loot in fruit jars,

bury it out in the ground,

now he’s locked up in the Pen

never to be free again

(due to his multiple offenses)

and the legend of his loot’s gotten around

Truth be told, these hard facts are cold,

that’s one treasure that’ll likely never be found

The day he was convicted of grand theft

was the same day that his wife left town
