In Memory of A Literary Luminary

He was a writer by his trade,

among the most gifted alive in his day

In Winter of 2005 though, He gave up the ghost,

left this world behind

the way he did it would scar your mind

so I’ll spare you the details for mercy sake,

but I will say, it was such a shock, such a shame,

To all those who knew his name

the world’s gone on as it tends to do,

it keeps on spinning around but all these years later,

the pain of his loss is still just as profound
