Lonely Road

He usually loves his job

As a trucker man

Criss-crossing the land

To put bread on his table

with his own two hands

It’s been weeks though,

that he’s been gone

He’s missing his wife,

missing his home

Tired of nights sleeping

in his cab bunk alone
